Bill passed away suddenly on the 16th November 2019 .A loving Husband, Dad & Grandad,. Bill will be sadly missed by all his family, relatives and friends who knew him including all the traders of Ashton Market where Bill spent over 50 years in the family butcher's business. 

Bill had been battling cancer for 20 months prior to his sudden passing . Donations will be invited and greatly received with all  proceeds being sent to the Christie charity in memory of Bill and his late Granddaughter Rebecca Briggs who also fought cancer bravely before her passing in 2016 aged 23.
